Yeah the title is a bit lame.

I'm rushing this post while I'm at a cafe with my daughter. She had her last art class today and I took her out for a treat. She wanted to see how I post to a website.

This sketch took a good long while to get done.
I have many excuses, but you shouldn't really care about any of them. :)

Donatello, having been separated from the other turtles during the fracas, retreats to the nearest pizza joint. Unbeknownst to him, the pizza maiden behind the counter is actually his long lost gym teacher. Tune in next week...

When I was a ripe youngling I went ape-shit for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I drew them constantly. I ran through the school yard bellowing the cartoon's theme song from the pits of my gutty-werks. I read the comics. Watched the show. Played the sweet, 4 player upright at the arcade. Eastman and Laird have supplied my childhood with much joy and I thank them for it.

I was thinking about this when I bemused to myself, 'without looking up any source material, could I scratch out a turtle from memory?'

Nailed it? Not likely, but it sure was fun. :)
